Webinar with Cameron Parker

The IGCSE Faculty is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with GCSEPod this year. As the first school in Southern Africa to adopt the Pod platform, we have been able to create a bespoke virtual support system for our students in preparation for their exams.

Through this collaboration I would like to announce that Cameron Parker, a renowned motivational speaker for schools and colleges will host a free webinar for our students to inspire them to succeed. Including practical tips on how to use GCSEPod that Cameron will be incorporating into his session.

On the 18th of March 2021 at 9am Zambian time for 60 minutes students will be transported in to a fast paced and high energy webinar which will coach them on:

1.      How to get motivated.
2.      Taking ownership and responsibility for your learning
3.      Using anxiety and stress to your advantage.
4.      How to use school, so that you CAN have the future you want.

Students can remain anonymous and parents can watch with them as Cameron makes goal setting, study strategies and building confidence seem easily attainable.

“My son is in Y10 and has found lockdown quite tricky. He is a conscientious student but is worried about his exams. I also work in a secondary school. I just wanted to say thank you! Cam is fantastic! My son was slightly reluctant to spend his evening doing this, but he was hooked and recognised a lot of his behaviour and vocalised his stresses well. We are now following Cam on social media and have booked the next session!”
Feedback from a Parent

Year 11 students on campus will be able to join in at the Library - make sure to bring your headphones!
Students on HBL will also be able to join from home.
