IBDP Information Evening

IBDP Information evening for Year 11 parents and students will take place on Wednesday, 21st April, in the Fine Arts between 1800 hrs - 1900 hrs. The purpose of the meeting is to give year 11 parents and students, information aboit the IB Diplom, IB courses and the ISL High School Diploma. Students are highly encouraged to attend with their parents. 

DP Visual Art students visit to Lechwe Art Gallery

This week our DP Art students visited the Lechwe Art Gallery to celebrate 90 years of Cynthia Zukas' contribution to Zambia Art. The students were fortunate enough to meet and interact with David Duat Makala, a famous artist and curator. Our current unit looks at curating and setting up an exhibition.

IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition

International School of Lusaka is proud to host the IBDP Visual Arts exhibition on Friday, the 23rd of April 2021 at 1800 hrs in the Fine Arts Theatre. This is a wonderful evening in which we celebrate the development of our students as artists as they unveil two years of their artworks. One of our IBDP2 student, Lutanda Wilkie has invested hours and hours into his portfolio, and we are very proud of his achievements. This year`s exhibition will also be accompanied by our Middle School classes and IGCSE exam coursework students to showcase their creativity.

IGCSE Exemptions

We have now completed the consultation process regarding exemptions for some exam components. Candidates who are eligible and for whom we recommend be exempt from a subject component will be contacted separately. 

IGCSE and Checkpoint Exams Commence




IGCSE and Checkpoint exams will commence as planned on Monday 12 April. We continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation in Zambia closely and are in regular contact with our partners at Cambridge International Assessment and the Zambian Ministry of Health. At this time we are confident we can deliver exams in a safe way.
