Mocks Update (IGCSE and Checkpoint)

Webinar with Cameron Parker

The IGCSE Faculty is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with GCSEPod this year. As the first school in Southern Africa to adopt the Pod platform, we have been able to create a bespoke virtual support system for our students in preparation for their exams. 

Through this collaboration I would like to announce that Cameron Parker, a renowned motivational speaker for schools and colleges will host a free webinar for our students to inspire them to succeed. Including practical tips on how to use GCSEPod that Cameron will be incorporating into his session.

Celebrating Exam Success - 100% A* to B




We were extremely excited to receive our IGCSE Maths results from the November 2020 session. Our students achieved a 100% pass rate from A* to B, beating the world average by 13%.

Exams Yoga


It was fantastic to see a little bit of socially distanced fun before the start of Mock Exams! As part of our Build Up Programme, on Wednesday 3 March, Year 11 students had the opportunity to participate in a yoga session led by our very own Ms Kumar. Students were introduced to some easy and useful techniques to help them deal with exam stress and learn how to focus their mind.

Year 12 students: invitation to compete in MUVI Television debate competition

We are opening invitations to any Year 12 student who would like to represent the school at an upcoming MUVI Television debate competition. The competition will host 20 Secondary schools from Lusaka to compete for different prizes and incentives such as scholarships, school materials, cash prizes and hampers.

Virtual Checkpoint Question and Answer Session

On Monday, 1st March, 2021, we hosted an information meeting for parents of year 9 students to respond to questions about the Checkpoint exam. The attendance from parents was very encouraging and the questions asked gave us very useful feedback.

Checkpoint and IGCSE Exams Invoices

Entries for Checkpoint and IGCSE exams have now closed. 

Our finance department has started to process the invoices. Parents should receive an invoice within two weeks' time.
