ISL welcomes Mrs Haylie Old as a Secondary teacher

As you know, the past several months have been difficult for both students and parents. For our teachers, managing both HBL and SBL classes has been and continues to be a challenge and can be quite fatiguing. Over the past holiday, Mr Chomba informed the School that he was advised to take some leave by his doctors. We wish him a speedy recovery. Given that this is a crucial time of the year for many of our students, we have engaged Mrs Haylie Old to substitute full time for Mr Chomba’s Year 8, 9, and 11 classes. Mrs Old was born and raised here in Zambia where she attended school before getting her teaching qualifications in English from Cape Town and Perth, Australia. She has worked in education as an English teacher both abroad and here in Zambia. On behalf of the School we welcome Mrs Old to the ISL community.
