Dealing With Exam/Test Anxiety Parent Workshop

Recently, the School Counselor Beverley Bloem took parents through some steps to help support children dealing with exam or test anxiety. Participation was great as Ms Bloem engaged parents in discussions around what their own feelings were towards their child facing imminent exams or tests. The workshop also took participants on the journey of discovering the different stages of dealing with stress as an insight to the process children could be undergoing. Finally, strategies to deal with stress were shared. One good take away was learning to deal with disappointment after an exam or test by learning from it and letting it go so that one can move on. Helpful resources:

Join the school counselor once again for another workshop on the 12th of April 2022 entitled “Navigating Conflict with your child/ children” where we will explore some of the conflict triggers and look at strategies for what to do in the midst of a conflict and how to move towards restoration/resolution.
