We are one of a group of schools piloting the assessment of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization's new programme standards.
This has meant a lot of extra work for our IB Primary Years Programme Coordinator, Grace Kambeu, and our IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, Silvia Nithyanathan supported by our teachers. The assessment has taken the form of a self-study process, ongoing now for many months, leading to a report that has been shared with the IBO. The culmination of this process is a (virtual) visit from an IBO assessment team who will look at what we do and give us guidance on how to proceed. The visiting team will be with us in the last week of March so you can look forward to more blog posts about the report and the assessment visit.
Having read the report, I am immensely proud both of the wonderful things that are happening at ISL and of the work that has gone in to the self-study.
