It was a wonderful morning and we had Assembly for the first time since we reopened this semester.
It became even more special with the presence of 2 Alumni students from over 30 years ago! One of them is our very own Ms. Zacks- Head of Student Support Services Department! Many of the students in the batch of 1992- got together and decided to give back to ISL. They felt the best thing was to have "Buddy benches" to spark conversations and chatter amongst students- chats which students will cherish and hold close even when they move on.
They decided to have Mukwa wood from Zambia and employ local carpenters to make this happen!
The Assembly today had a Kindness theme and this was indeed a gesture of kindness from our Alumni.
Thank you Alumni! We always look forward to seeing you and hearing from you!
