U-14 and U-16 ISAZ Netball

ISL Wild Dogs Netball teams on Friday and Saturday participated in the ISAZ Netball tournaments. Kabulonga Trust School hosted the U-14 tournament on Friday, Feb 25, but LICS - U-16 tournament on Saturday, Feb 26.

U-14 Netball team - Coach Mrs Tembo and Mr Munsanje

10 teams participated in U-14 tournament, divided in 2 groups. ISL girls were in Group A with Rhodes Park School, Lake Road, Baobab College, and Kabulonga Trust School.  

Results:

ISL vs Rhodes Park School - draw 1-1

ISL vs Baobab - loss 1-9

ISL vs Kabulonga Trust - win 13-0

ISL vs Lake Road - win 12-5

With 2 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss our girls finished 2nd in the Group A, earning a spot in the semifinal.

Semifinal vs Italian School - loss 3-9, and 3rd place overall!

U-16 Netball team - Coach Mr Munsanje

10 teams participated in U-16 tournament, divided in 2 groups. ISL girls were in Group A with Kabulonga Trust School, Mary Queen School, Banani, LICS. Results:

ISL vs Kabulonga Trust School - win 16-2

ISL vs Mary Queen - win 12-0

ISL vs Banani - win 10-6

ISL vs LICS - loss 5-7

With 3 wins and 1 loss our girls finished 2nd in the Group A, earning a spot in the semifinal.

Semifinal vs Baobab College - loss 7-12.

3rd place match vs Rhodes Park - win in overtime 8-5 (5-5) and 3rd place overall!
