U-11 & U-13 ISAZ Netball

 Martin House hosted the 2022 ISAZ U-11 and U-13 Netball tournaments on February 12, 2022.

U-11 Netball team - Coach Mrs Anna Tembo and Mrs Mwansa Luambia

12 teams participated in the U-11 (2011) event, ISL girls were in Pool B (6 teams) with Martin House 2, Musikili Primary 2, Woodford School Lsk, Baobab College, and Rhodes Park.  

Results:

ISL vs Rhodes Park - loss 2-7

ISL vs Martin House 2 - win 5-3

ISL vs Musikili Primary 2 - loss 3-8

ISL vs Baobab College - loss 1-10

ISL vs Woodford School Lsk - win 8-5

With 2 wins and 3 losses the U-11 team finished 4th in the Pool B, 7th-8th overall.

U-13 Netball team - Coach Mrs Tembo

11 teams participated in the U-13 (2009) event, ISL girls were in Pool B with Nkhwazi Primary, LICS, Woodford School Lsk, Baobab College, and Rhodes Park.  

Results:

ISL vs Nkhwazi Primary - win 9-0

ISL vs Woodford School Lsk - win 7-0

ISL vs LICS - loss 0-1

ISL vs Rhodes Park - win 6-2

ISL vs Baobab College - loss 2-10

With 3 wins and 2 losses the U-13 team finished 3rd in the Pool B, 5th-6th overall.

Girls demonstrated a positive attitude and sportsmanship throughout the event, and learned a lot about the game of netball and themselves.
