The third international online conference 'Children for a Better World' conference on the theme of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) was held by Century Integration International school on the 11th and 12th of February. The two day conference featured speakers on topics such as Ocean Plastics, Climate Action, Affordable and Clean energy.
ISL was invited to participate in the conference and two of our Year 13 students Jessica Patel and Keerthana Nair represented ISL on the two days along with seventy students from International schools around the world. Students were tasked with making a presentation on the theme 'To what extent can sustainable development be achieved through your chosen SDG?’ Jessica and Keerthana chose SDG 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities and made a wonderful presentation by using data and research from their Extended essay papers. Well done to Jessica and Keerthana for representing us so well.
