Year 13 students held a “trial by literature” of the character Meursault, from The Stranger by Albert Camus. Prosecution and Defence teams argued their cases and called witnesses; playing characters from the novel. Judge Xiao presided over proceedings in the insaka. Here, we also see Munita called to the witness stand as Salamano, Meursault’s neighbour.
The calibre of argumentation and evidence was superlative; capably led by Ashiana Dudhia for the prosecution and Keerthana Nair for the defence. What was the verdict?
