Welcome back to school

 2021- 2022! Another school year begins on Monday- 9th August!

A warm welcome to the new families who are joining the ISL family. Thank you for choosing our school to further the educational journey of your child/ children. We are delighted to have you with us😃

We commence the academic year with Home-based Learning ( HBL) and our teachers are well prepared to launch our program with learning engagements that incorporate involvement and participation in students.

"Open House" takes place on Friday, August 6th for all classes ( with the exception of Nursery and Preschool), at 16:00 hours ( Reception to Year 2) and 18:00 hours ( Year 3- Year 6) to assist with preparations for HBL.

Renovated classrooms in the Early Years block, an awesome whole school library, a spacious Visual Arts room in the Fine Arts theatre are some things that await us as we reopen to facilitate School-Based Learning ( SBL)! Lots of changes to look forward to as students return to campus.

We welcome our new staff members Eric Zarouba ( Year 6 teacher), Beverley Bloem ( School Counselor and PSHE teacher), Ruta Baskevica ( Year 2 teacher), and Sandjis Baskevics (Athletics Director), and Megan Dobre Bell ( Year 4 teacher). They come with vast experience from schools in Germany, South Africa, Qatar, and Tanzania. I would also like to welcome Ms. Caroline Sikwese and Ms. Adri Brewis for stepping in to support us whilst we await the arrival of Ms. Lucy Scorgie ( Nursery and Preschool teacher) and Megan Dobre Bell.

We are excited to have them on board with us and look forward to a fabulous year with all members of a dynamic Primary team!
