Learn and Grow

The survey sent to evaluate online learning in Primary school has proved worthwhile and helped us learn and grow more in order to facilitate improved teaching.

Several parents have expressed their gratitude and are happy with the services offered and we are grateful for the positive feedback. This has given us tons of enthusiasm to keep working hard and staying motivated!

In addition, we also welcome feedback regarding the quantity of work given to primary students, student access to devices and the lack of power in many places in Zambia. The concerns are being attended to by teachers to the best of their ability when planning for the weeks ahead.

Learning how to cope with the current situation and remembering this affects teachers and their families too is important. Both sides are learning from each other, growing professionally and personally as we move on to finish the school year. Assessments planned for students will require parental support-reminding students of the need to work independently and with integrity.

Let us work together, remember and put in practice the attitudes of Respect, Tolerance,  Integrity, Empathy and Cooperation we aim to instill in our children and also not forget to embody the PYP Learner Profile- Principled, Openminded, Caring, Thinker, Risk-taker, Communicator, Knowledgeable, Inquirers and Well Balanced.

Take care and stay safe.
