Introducing Mrs. Lucy Scorgie - ISL Primary School Teacher!

Lucy Scorgie is an ISL parent, a member of the PTA, and a volunteer parent at ISL. She has spent her entire career in the care and education of children either as a Teacher or as a Nanny.
Her Nanny experience is from birth – 11 years and as a teacher, her experience is Nursery – Year 2. She holds an NNEB Diploma and a Montessori Diploma and is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies with Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England. She started her teaching career at Town Close Preparatory School in Norwich where she was a teaching assistant for eight years working with Nursery and Kindergarten. In 2009 she came to Zambia to join her husband. Within two years she found herself working at Leopard Cubs School. She was The Head Teacher before being offered a position at the newly opened Montessori School Casa del Bambini where she was the only teacher when it opened. She was responsible for planning and implementing the whole school. She is looking forward to helping to educate the future leaders of ISL. Management has all the confidence that she is more than capable of this role. We are very excited about having Lucy Scorgie on our team having examined her resume and background. Welcome, Lucy!
