Meet Mrs. Emily H. Kasoma - ISL Board Member
Mrs. Emily Heneghan Kasoma has lived in Zambia for over ten years. She has two children at ISL, Tessa (Year 4) and Caleb (Year 1) and has been an ISL Parent since 2013. Emily works across a range of social development sectors, including nutrition, social protection, and health. Currently, she works with the World Food Programme’s (WFP) Nutrition Division to scale up private sector investment in nutrition across the countries where the organization works. Prior to this, Emily served for four years as the WFP Nutrition & Social Protection Team Lead in the WFP Zambia Country Office. Her previous experience also includes public health programmes and policy work with the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Zambia, and also many years spent working in China. Emily has Masters' degrees in Business Administration and Public Health from the University of Michigan in the United States and was raised in Minnesota.
