Ask ISL - Head of School Evaluation

I note with interest that the Board has an evaluation for the Head of School planned for this year.

Will similar evaluations be conducted for the Principals, meaning the Head of Secondary and Head of Primary?

As these are positions which involve contact with many different parts of the overall school community, will a 360 degree evaluation approach be used?

Answer

The Head of School evaluation has indeed started over the past weeks, with a survey sent out to a random sample of parents, teachers, staff and management, as well as to the PTA and Student Council. This process is being led by the Board of Governors. For any questions or input you would like to provide, please get in touch with Nancy Sikaswe (nanachileshe@yahoo.com) who is chairing the evaluation committee.

Evaluations for the principals will be a consultative process lead by the head including input from various constituencies.

Grateful if further updates on this issue could be provided. Is the process underway?
