We are gradually approaching the finish line, but yet got so much to do!
Last Saturday ISL hosted the ISAZ Junior Athletics Schools Meet. We had 5 schools participate- Oaktree, Lake Road, AIS, LICS and ISL. It was wonderful to see teachers and students from other schools and compete with them. Lake Road took the trophy, but ISL came in second and this was great news! The students did a great job and I must commend their participation and efforts on the day. Hearty Congratulations to our participants and the coaches!👏👏👏
I would like to thank our PE department and in particular Mr. Dickson, Ms. Mapoma and Mr. Chibwana for giving up the morning to manage our students, facilitate the races and support the event! A big "Thank you" also to our parents for dropping off the children and supporting us!
Africa Freedom Day showcased the freedom run which all of us thoroughly enjoyed. What a fun morning that was! Parents and students were all just happy to be there and a big round of applause to Ms. Karen and the PTA for all their hard work and efforts! The warm-up, the actual run, the colour thrown around and the food stalls- all added up to a fantastic morning. We all had a great time, thank you!
