U-19 ISAZ NATIONALS

On March 25 and 26 ISL Wild Dogs netball and football teams participated in the ISAZ U-19 National tournaments hosted at Baobab College. This year both of our girls teams qualified for the National tournaments. 

Girls Netball team - Coach Mr Gift Munsanje

8 teams qualified for the Nationals divided in 2 groups. ISL Wild Dogs were in Group A with Mpelembe, Baobab, and Trident.

Results:

ISL vs Mpelembe - loss 5-6

ISL vs Baobab - loss 3-13

ISL vs Trident - loss 3-15

Our girls finished 4th in Group A and 7th-8th overall in the whole country!

Girls Football team - Coach Mr. Chilele

8 teams qualified for the Nationals divided in 2 groups. ISL Wild Dogs were in Group B with Kalulushi Trust, Baobab, and Trident.

Results:

ISL vs Kalulushi - win 2-0,

ISL vs Baobab - draw 1-1,

ISL vs Trident - win 1-0,

finishing first in group and advancing to semifinals.

Semifinal - ISL vs Chengelo - draw 1-1, penalty shoot-outs loss 5-6.

3rd place match vs Trident - win 2-1 and 3rd place in the whole country!
