Secondary students are encouraged to sign up and/or put themselves forward to help out in the upcoming production of Peter and the Wolf. Students may take on acting roles, stage management, wardrobe, musical accompaniment and even set design…there's so much you can do! Please see Mr Holdway for details.
Peter ... Title character, mischievous boy, playful but naughty!
The Grandfather… old man, who tries to look after Peter; stern but he worries about his grandson
The Hunter(s) ... alert, watchful, brave
The Bird … a show off. Preferably a not-so-tall student! Perhaps to be carried at times by another performer
The Duck … a good waddler, a bit bossy
Ducklings … Duck’s children
The Cat … playful, on the alert for the Bird
The Wolf … menacing, brooding, fierce
Narrator(s) … they introduce the instruments and tell the story as it unfolds. Strong expressive voice
