On Friday, September 24 after many, many months of absence of sporting events, AISL hosted the first LISL (Lusaka International Schools League) event of the year - Volleyball tournament for U-19 and U-14 teams.
U-14 Boys team - Coach Mrs. Tembo
3 teams participated - ISL, AISL, and LICS.
Boys won both games:
ISL vs AISL 2-1 (11-15; 15-11; 15-12)
ISL vs LICS 2-1 (15-9; 13-15; 15-9)
U-19 Girls team - Coach Mr. Munsanje
2 teams participated - ISL and AISL.
It was very engaging and competitive best-of-5 game:
ISL vs AISL 2-3 (25-22; 17-25; 25-21; 11-15; 8-15)
U-19 Boys team - Coach Mr. Sandijs
4 teams participated - ISL, AISL A, AISL B, and LICS.
Boys did their best, but came short in all 3 games:
ISL vs AISL A 0-2 (12-25; 23-25)
ISL vs AISL B 0-2 (13-15; 11-15)
ISL vs LICS 1-2 (9-15; 15-13; 10-15)
