The Zambia Police Service has granted permission for a march-past on Wednesday 19th February 2020 at 13:00 from UNZA to the parliament building. We do not anticipate this to be unruly nor do we expect the route to be close to International School. As a precautionary measure only, we will have additional security detailed at school from mid-morning onward.
Parents habitually using the expected route of the march-past, likely including the Great East Road, should be mindful of possible delays due to traffic disruption.
Peaceful assembly is a protected right under article 39 of the constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
