A great start to the school year...
It was fabulous to see parents and children back at school! The warmth and joy exhibited at seeing each other provided a great insight into the strong bonds we forge at ISL! Everyone was so happy to see each other- a great reunion of members of the ISL community:) A special warm welcome to our new families who have chosen ISL as the school for their children. We have had very positive feedback from students and parents after their first day at school. Our classes are mostly full with the exception of a few places available in Nursery ( 2 year olds).
Mrs. Kambeu and I had an opportunity to meet new families during the Primary Years Program (PYP) Induction workshop held for them on Thursday this week. Thank you to all the new families that attended and a big thank you to the PTA also for making time to meet the families. We trust this information sharing session helped provide some insight into our program.
A reminder for Open Houses to be held next week from 19th to 22nd August. This is a great opportunity to meet the classroom teacher and learn about the year level expectations. You will also get an opportunity to meet the Specialist teachers. An email has been sent out to all parents with times, venues and year groups for a particular day.
We encourage all parents to attend and be a part of the exciting program planned for this year.
