The Board met on Tuesday 22nd March.
The Head of School and the different Board committees gave updates on the work they have been doing since the last Board meeting in January.
Our school enrolment has continued to increase. We currently have 674 students, up from 661 students in January.
The Estates and Projects Committee is preparing to begin work on the identified priority renovation and maintenance works in July.
The Policy and Planning Committee has finalized the Board handbook, and they continue to have discussions regarding the development of the school strategy.
The Marketing & Strategy Committee has been working on hosting an open house evening in an attempt to reach out to people we know who may be interested in enrolling their children at ISL. The aim of it is to provide information about our school so that people can make informed choices about how best to educate their children. The open house evening will be held on the 12th of April at 18:00 hours in the Library. The committee is also planning to host a cocktail party as another interactive marketing venture at a date to be advised.
The COVID Task Force continues to meet fortnightly, working on keeping a safe campus for students and restoring events and activities in school as is COVID-19 safe.
