It is always exciting to see innovation in classrooms and I was really excited to see some of the GIF presentations done by our students using GIF with a view to persuasion.
GIF, in full, is a graphics interchange format, a digital file format devised in 1987 by the Internet service provider CompuServe as a means of reducing the size of images and short animations.
Our students in Year 4 have been using these as a means of persuasion. A few samples have been shared below. The students had to create a storyline, draw images using technology and make them persuasive Watch the presentation below and see persuaded you are! Our teachers too went through how this can be used in the classrooms and they were so involved and excited:)
