Congratulations to all Accelerated Maths students who received their IGCSE results yesterday! We are thrilled to report that 100% of students received an A or A*, which is 25% above the world average (based on 2021 data).
In fact 75% of the candidates managed to secure an A*, which is 45% above the world average (based on 2021 data).
This is the highest ever result in IGCSE Maths in the school's history! These results place us among the top performing schools in Africa and the world! Yet again, I might add!
This is a huge milestone for our Maths faculty and students and a testament to their dedication and hard work! Our Accelerated Maths students will now take on the Additional Mathematics exams in June, which will enable them to study Higher Level Mathematics in the IBDP.
Special congratulations to Youness as well, who has secured an A* in French! Youness took the exams in Semester 1 of Year 10 and prepared independently with the help of Ms Duvivier. A very impressive achievement, rarely matched even by native speakers!
