Back to campus

The first week back to campus went well. Most people - students and teachers - seemed happy to be back on campus. The week was productive but tiring and by Friday we were all ready for the weekend. We had around 80% attending on campus with the remainder logging on through Google Meet.

I am happy to note that there is a great improvement in the coronavirus precautions. Students are really taking it seriously, showing good compliance with social distancing, masking and moving safely in the corridors. Staff have stepped up using the mantra every child is your student to help remind students - and colleagues - about the precautions. A big 'thank you' to students and staff for making the first week back such a success.

There are a few things I want to mention as reminders for parents:

  • Masks must be worn on campus. The rule is that when you are outside your car your mask should be on.
  • Masks with valves should not be used on campus. Please do not send your child to school with such a mask.
  • Drop off areas are for children getting out of cars. If adults will be getting out - even to get bags etc. - you are parked and should use the parking area.

I would like to thank all parents for their patience with and support for the school over the past year.
