The first week back to campus went well. Most people - students and teachers - seemed happy to be back on campus. The week was productive but tiring and by Friday we were all ready for the weekend. We had around 80% attending on campus with the remainder logging on through Google Meet.
We are happy to inform you that we have entered into partnership for the remainder of the school year with Punzila Educational Services. Punzila representatives along with our Coordinators will help guide Secondary students and parents through the next stages of their education as they head towards placement in tertiary institutions around the world.
A great start to this semester! It was wonderful to see most of our students return:)
Tomorrow, Monday 15th, is a “no-HBL” school day. Teachers will use this day to make sure that everything is ready for Tuesday 16th, which is our first day of SBL classes on campus. SBL classes will be almost the same as when we left school in December, with a few small but important changes.

The IBDP and IGCSE Mock Foreign Languages oral exams started on Monday and will run through out this week. Strict Covid measure are in place to ensure that these oral exams are being conducted in a safe environment for our students and teachers.
The 5 Year Review Evaluation visit regarding the Multi-Programme, PYP DP has been confirmed to take place on 29th to 31st March. This will be a remote visit and will be conducted by the following visiting team. Denise Michel and Françoise Mokhtar-Bencteux are programme leaders for PYP while Mike Millichamp and Edith van der Linden are for DP.

2021 has brought progress in the fight against coronavirus, but it has also presented new challenges to our staff and students. We have seen several countries cancel Checkpoint and IGCSE examinations, our school has had to move back to remote learning, and sadly we have witnessed the impact of Covid-19 on our own community.
Middle School Students have enjoyed improving their mental maths skills with SuperTmatik - an online mental maths challenge from Portugal.
Maths in Primary! Just before the Christmas break, Year 2 made these amazing shapes in their Maths class! Tesselation and also 3D shapes and nets.
Year 7s made these fun videos of their understanding of fractions using multi link cubes.
