I have been once again impressed with the flexibility and resilience of our community. Teachers, students and parents have rallied round to make our home-based learning programme a success. Our new families - we have 32 new students in January - are settling in well even under these difficult circumstances. I am optimistic that the closure of our campus will not be unduly protracted and look forward to having students back here once again.
In the meantime, life goes on. Our school is part of the SET group - a test group - for new programme standards in IBDP and IBPYP. We have been working for a while now to prepare for that and will shortly undergo a re accreditation visit - virtually - from the IBO. We have also posted a strong set of IGCSE result from our Mathematics students who sat their exams in November. I look forward to the coordinators posting about these interesting and impressive developments.
At the moment our campus is closed but sooner or later it will reopen. Let us know what you think - either about being closed or about reopening - at our virtual town hall meeting on Thursday 28th January at 18:00 CAT. You can join the meeting by clicking here. I look forward to seeing you there.
