Introducing our Public Relations & Marketing Manager - Ms Yabbey Shitima!

Some of you in our community might know Ms Yabbey Shitima as a Year 3 teacher. Joining our primary school section in 2006, Yabbey has been an active member of staff in the ISL community for over a decade. She is a dedicated, resourceful, and self-motivated professional marketer and educator offering 20 years of experience.

Yabbey is known for organizing our UN/Zambia day. She has been lead in organizing the event with success, initiative and inclusion.  Yabbey is a dynamic visionary and solid team player with a proven track record in collaborating with the school community, ensuring student academic and social achievement and increasing parental involvement. She has excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster meaningful relationships with stakeholders. She is further passionate about branding and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Her credentials further include holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa. She is a full member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing, a professional and membership organization regulating the practice of marketing in Zambia.

Yabbey is currently an MBA candidate with the University of Roehampton, in the United Kingdom. School management is confident in the record that she brings to the table. We are very excited to have her in this new role. Please join us in congratulating her on her new position. Best of luck Yabbey!
