July holiday activities 2020

What a fantastic week it has been with our holiday activities, it was so good to see our students back in school. As soon as the Ministry of Health through the Provincial Health Director gave a go ahead for non-contact activities, ISL immediately put up a program that would bring students into school to do some activities.
The ECA Coordinator in collaboration with the P.E department have organised a 4 week program which allows parents to bring students into school between 10am - 11am (session 1) and 11am - 12pm (session 2) for some activities. We are happy to share with you some of the experiences.
Football
This activity basically involved ball control, passing, dribbling and shooting at goal. For some clips click here
Badminton
We had doubles and singles games. Click here for clips.
Ballet
See how cute our ballerina's look as they continue to learn ballet. For just a glimpse click here.
Basketball
Did you know that ISL students represented our school in Kinshasa DRC this February and reached finals? We continue perfecting our skills. Why not have a look here whats been happening so far!
Roller Skating
As the saying goes "Why walk if you can skate?" our students are perfecting their skating skills. Would you like to see them practice, click here.
Fun/Fitness games
Who said their is no fun in wanting to keep fit? ISL students are maintaining their fitness with some fun involved. Check out how much this is, click here.
Drama

We also had some drama class.

Tennis

Serena Williams once said  "I always believe I can beat the best, achieve the best. I always see myself in the top position."
Who know this student could be our own Serena Williams.

We are continuing with activities for the next 3 weeks, if you are interested check the program here for the next coming activities and do drop in to take part. We have continued to work closely with the Ministry of Health's Provincial Health Director as we conduct a variety of non-contact activities and maintain public health guidelines as prescribed (social distancing, hand hygiene, sanitizers, participants names/details etc).
Looking forward to having you on campus for some activities.
