Thursday last week we had our first-ever virtual association meeting. The purpose of the meeting was for members to share their questions, concerns and suggestions about our response to the pandemic. This was preceded by a letter from our board to the association sent the same day. The board and the management are committed to clear and transparent communication during this time of which the letters, association meeting and this blog are part.
The meeting was attended by over 40 association members. Many ideas and suggestions were shared in a positive and productive manner. We intend to hold such meetings once a month until the situation normalises.
In addition, we will also be going ahead with the parent coffees that we usually have at the start of the school year. These will be in the usual format - by sets of year groups - except that they will be online so you will be drinking your own coffee which may be an improvement. We will advertise these in the near future.
Am looking forward to seeing more parents attend such meetings
ReplyDeleteI would like to commend ISL for making significant improvements to the virtual learning platform which has since been integrated with other education apps. This innovation demonstrates the school's resilience towards today's global disruption caused by COVID19 pandemic and also to ensure business continuity and delivery of the much needed education services to our children. We certainly in this together and we shall overcome.
