On Friday, October 1, AISL hosted the first LISL (Lusaka International Schools League) Swimming Gala for U-13, U-11 and U-9 teams.
3 schools participated in this Gala - ISL, AISL, and LICS. In each race 2 swimmers from each school took part and points were given based on the place swimmers got.
Overall, our team finished 3rd, but in some races and strokes our swimmers were able to finish higher:
1 - girls in butterfly finished 1st;
2 - girls in breaststroke finished 2nd.

Thank you swimmers, Coach Adrian and Kapenta club, teachers, administration, and parents for all the help to make this happen. Swimmers, keep on practicing and get ready for the next round of competitions!
