Good Morning Parents
I trust all is well. Our Primary students are enjoying their learning experiences and have settled in well after the October Break.
Here's a snapshot of what was happening in the Primary School last week!!!
We are excited to share with you that Santa and the Beanstalk will be performed by the EY on Thursday 8th December 2022.
Here is a synopsis of the EY Production!
A handful of chocolate coins brings festive fun and frolic to the North Pole!
The credit crunch has hit Santa's Workshop hard, and there isn’t enough money to make all the toys. Before you can say “Ho, ho, ho,” Santa’s sold his prize reindeer for a bag of magic chocolate coins, and we're off on a rollercoaster ride to a mysterious winter wonderland, where the Magic Snowmen might just save the day...
Please join us for an enchanting Christmas musical full of festive fun and sparkling songs.
We cannot wait to see you all there!
Student Council
Our Student Council held an Ice Lolly sale and donated K1000 to Sherman shoe boxes. The rest of the money will be used to purchase playground equipment and games. ( We will keep you posted on what was purchased) Well done to our Student Council!!!
Y6 trip to Musungwa -Tuesday, Nov.15 to Friday, Nov 18, 2022
We wish our students a safe, exciting, and memorable trip to Musungwa - one that they will remember in years to come and tuck away in the corners of their minds, only to draw upon when reminiscing on the highlights of their
when they reminisce on their Primary School Years. Teachers will share photos with parents and keep you updated on the activities students are engaged in.
Y3 visit to Cheshire Homes
Year 3 students visited Cheshire Homes and donated lots of essential items to children who have physical disabilities. They are currently inquiring into the Interdependence of the Body
Systems.
Y3 Assembly: Performance Poetry under the Transdisciplinary Theme - How we express ourselves.
Year 3.2 Students were well-prepared and articulate and were very successful in sharing their learning journey. It was evident that it was very much student-centered and student-directed which was excellent. It was great to see the genuine sense of enjoyment, pride, and satisfaction that students derived from sharing their learning in front of an audience. Great work Year 3.2, Daniela and Stanslous!! Thank you to all our parents who managed to attend... it is much appreciated.
A few highlights from Year 3.2 Assembly!
Workshop for Teaching Assistants on Safeguarding and Child Protection.
We held a very informative workshop on Safeguarding and Child Protection for our Teaching Assistants on Thursday, November 10th. As these workshops are extremely important to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, we do revisit them on a regular basis with Staff annd Faculty.
Our Teaching Assistants were very engaged in the workshop
Have a great start to your week and watch this space for the going-ons in Primary School.
Shireen.
