Outstanding IB Diploma Results

We are extremely excited to announce that our students have achieved outstanding results in the May 2021 IB Diploma Programme examinations.

Our results showcase a number of impressive results, both at individual level and at class level. 

• Average total points for the whole cohort is 35 (world average is 33.02).
• Pass rate is 100% (world pass rate is 89%).
• Average diploma grade obtained by our students is 5.54 (world average is 5.19).
• 25% of our students received above 40 points out of a maximum of 45 points.
• Our top scorer, Divyam Kumar achieved an incredible perfect score of 45 points.
• Yuehe Pan achieved 43 points.
• Merlyn Jovita Nithyanathan achieved 42 points
• Tanmay Singla achieved 42 points.  

We are truly proud of each one of our students and congratulate them on their achievements. I would specially like to mention that together, we at ISL actively chose to pursue the examinations route rather than the non-examination route using teacher assessed grades. Our students worked very hard and showed great resilience during the Covid pandemic to ensure that they were well prepared for the exams. Many thanks to our dedicated team of IBDP teachers and parents who have been the driving force behind these outstanding performances. 

All the graduates have received multiple offers from prestigious universities like Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Toronto, UCLA, and universities in the UK, Canada and Europe. We wish them good luck as they move on to their next venture.
